Honda Racing Saudi Arabia (HRS) kicked off their 2026 Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship campaign with a stellar performance, securing top podium finishes during the first two rounds. Held at the challenging Aqabat Al-Muhammadiyah in Taif, the team showcased their prowess fielding the formidable Honda Civic Type R and Honda Civic Sport.
A Spectacular Debut in Round 1
During the opening round, held from July 2–4, 2026, Captain Bandar Al-Sulami delivered a fierce performance behind the wheel of the Honda Civic Type R, capturing a hard-fought 2nd place in the ‘4A’ category.
Adding to the team’s triumph in the ‘5A’ category, Captain Einas Hamza turned heads in her Honda Civic Sport. She clinched an impressive 2nd place within her category against a highly competitive field of young drivers, while simultaneously securing 2nd place in the Women’s category.
Maintaining Momentum in Round 2
The team proved their initial success was no fluke during the second round, which took place from July 16–18, 2026. Captain Bandar Al-Sulami maintained his razor-sharp consistency, repeating his spectacular feat to claim 2nd place in his class once again. Meanwhile, Captain Einas Hamza sustained her strong momentum, locking in another 2nd place finish in the Women’s category and reinforcing her position as a formidable contender in the championship.
