Saudi Esports Federation Invites Esports Community to Experience the Excitement of the EWC at SEF Arena Watch Party
The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) invites the esports community, fans, and clubs in the Kingdom to attend the Watch Party and experience the excitement of the Esports World Cup live from Boulevard Riyadh City, specifically at SEF Arena, throughout the tournament’s seven-week duration.
The experience kicked off on July 9 and runs until August 23, active every tournament weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 11:30 am until 11:00 pm, giving fans access to a dedicated fan zone where they can watch EWC matches on big screens, celebrate the tournament’s standout moments, and enjoy the championship weekend atmosphere alongside the community.
Saudi clubs are looking to defend their world title in the tournament’s third edition, which features more than 2,000 players and 200 clubs from over 100 countries, competing across 25 championships covering 24 games, with a record prize pool of $75 million — $30 million of which is dedicated exclusively to the club championship.
Saudi clubs have already made a strong start to the competition. Team Falcons, the reigning Club Championship winner for the past two editions, is pursuing a historic third consecutive title. Meanwhile, Twisted Minds, one of the fastest-growing esports clubs in the world, is also in the spotlight after securing more than 60 international championships since its establishment in 2021.
Rawan Al-Butairi, CEO of the Saudi Esports Federation, said: ‘SEF Arena represents the pulse of esports in the Kingdom, and the place where this promising sector was born. Today, we take pride in the level of Saudi clubs and their achievements, which reflect the growth of this sector locally and globally. Our goal is to give our community a space to come together and experience the spirit of the Esports World Cup as one. This is only the beginning of seven extraordinary weeks.’
The Watch Party will continue every championship weekend through August 23.
