Misk Art Institute Launches Creative Forum 2025: Arts Reshaping the World

Misk Art Institute, a subsidiary of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “Misk,” launched its sixth annual Creative Forum 2025 at Riyadh Schools Misk City. The flagship cultural dialogue platform is taking place on October 17–18 under the theme: Arts Reshaping the World: Social Responsibility of Cultural Institutions.
Cultural practitioners, curators, scholars, and artists from around the world have gathered to explore the evolving role of cultural institutions. The two-day program features more than 15 curated panels, alongside spotlight talks, networking sessions, and creative activations. “Networking: Coffee With” will feature expert-led group discussions for exchanging insights, while “Inked Memory” provides visitors with an interactive art experience.
Creative Forum reflects Misk Art Institute’s commitment to fostering regional and international dialogue, underscoring the importance of creative innovation as a tool for societal development. It highlights the role of art in shaping identity and influencing shared heritage across generations.
Reem Alsultan, CEO of Misk Art Institute, stated: “Cultural institutions are active participants in shaping identity and collective memory. But they are also agents of change. By convening pioneering voices from across the region and beyond, the Creative Forum 2025 will kindle new cultural conversations and spotlight innovative approaches to cultural and social responsibility. Bringing together a community of artists, curators, students, and influential cultural leaders, Misk Art Institute reaffirms its mission to empower creativity and foster inclusivity, showcasing homegrown voices alongside international perspectives.”
Through Creative Forum 2025, participants will engage in a space where new perspectives on cultural sustainability can take root. With a forward-looking lens to the future of arts and culture, this year’s edition aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s broader cultural vision and the national efforts to help build a sustainable, inclusive art community, embedding creative and artistic engagement and knowledge at the heart of development.
Since its inception in 2020, Creative Forum has welcomed more than 186 speakers from over 20 countries, attracted 14,000+ attendees, and generated 3M+ impressions worldwide, establishing itself as a catalyst for cultural and artistic exchange.
